Overview

ARX.Store handles the part of selling digital products that's easy to underestimate: multi-currency pricing, instant delivery, and a checkout flow that doesn't lose the cart the moment someone switches devices.

It's built with clean component boundaries, cart state synced across sessions, a mobile-first responsive UI, and CI/CD deployment that ships changes without drama.

Instant delivery for digital products means the fulfillment step has to be idempotent — a payment webhook that fires twice (which happens more often than you'd expect with any payment provider) can't result in two delivery emails or a double-charged license key. Every fulfillment event is keyed to the payment provider's transaction id, not just triggered on receipt.

The challenge

Problem: Digital delivery only has to go wrong once to become a support problem: a customer pays, the delivery email doesn't arrive (a spam filter, a webhook retry landing before the first one finished, whatever the cause), and now there's a paying customer with nothing to show for it and no easy way to know their order even succeeded.

Approach: Made every order's fulfillment state queryable and self-serve: the order-success page re-fetches delivery status directly rather than assuming the redirect implies success, and a customer can always retrieve their download link or license key from the order lookup without needing to file a support ticket first.

Result: Delivery failures became visible and self-resolvable instead of silent, cutting down on the exact category of support request ('I paid but got nothing') that's most damaging to trust in a digital storefront.
